Upon successfully submitting a complete application, you should immediately receive an autogenerated email notification acknowledging the receipt of your application. This notification will provide you with an application reference number as proof that your application was successfully received.
Within 30 days of receiving your complete application, you should receive your first email notification from your assigned Document Processor. After you receive this first notification from your Processor, you will receive subsequent notifications each time your Processor touches your application file. These subsequent notifications provide you with assurance that the Processor is working on gathering any additional documents needed to submit your application to senior management for an approval decision.
Within 60 days of successfully submitting a complete application with all requested documentation from your Processor, we should be able to obtain a decision from senior management on whether your application will be funded. If it’s very clear that you do not qualify for assistance, you will be notified much sooner. If you’re deemed ineligible for assistance, you will have the opportunity to appeal.
A complete application means that all application questions (and any follow up questions) are answered, and all required documents (and any requested follow up documents) are received.
On average, we contact applicants five times, via phone and email, to obtain follow up documents needed, or to obtain responses to additional questions. If you have not received a response in your inbox, please check your spam folder before contacting our team. You can help us reduce the number of times we need to contact you by providing us with everything we need when first requested. This will allow us to reach an assistance decision much sooner.
