To date, the NHAF program has primarily served families living off-reservation. Homeowners on the Navajo Nation have been at a disadvantage in using the online application due to limited or inconsistent internet connectivity. Therefore, to provide homeowners residing on the Navajo Nation an equal opportunity to apply, the current round of applications will be limited to homeowners whose primary residence is on the Navajo Nation.
